West Hill raises capital for innovative care worker marketplace, Care Hires

Care Hires, an innovative digital care worker marketplace has secured £2million investment capital to accelerate its growth. 

The Company’s innovative software solution has the potential to address chronic staff shortages in the care sector by enabling care providers to automate the recruitment of temporary healthcare staff more efficiently and effectively than traditional labour intensive manual methods. 

Chronic staff shortages in the sector have been well publicised, with care homes reportedly missing up to a third of the staff required and more than one in four have closed their doors to new admissions in a deepening labour crisis. Care Hires started out in 2020 to provide a solution to this growing problem.

The company already works with over 150 Care services across the UK and has over 1,000 Healthcare staff onboarded to the platform. Care Hires has successfully supplied over half a million hours requested by care providers looking for qualified healthcare staff in times of need.

The investment will be used to amplify sales and marketing functions in addition to bolstering the Company’s technology infrastructure and to launch its SaaS products to potentially transform temporary care staff recruitment and administration across the £15.9billion per annum UK market.
